    Practice Description

    Mr. Crapo’s primary area of practice is in state and local taxation. He has represented large gas companies and telecommunications companies before the Utah State Tax Commission and Utah Supreme Court. He also has extensive experience in business and corporate formation and transactions with the Utah Department of Commerce, Division of Corporations.

    Mr. Crapo is a frequent lecturer on sales and property tax issues, and he has written various comments for the Journal of Multistate Taxation. He also is on the Editorial Board for the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation Sales and Use Tax Desk Book. Mr. Crapo is the past chair of the Tax Section of the Utah State Bar. He is a member of the Utah State Bar and the American Property Tax Counsel American Inns of Court.
